Elana Goldstein
Elana Goldstein is an attorney who represents clients charged with criminal offenses at all stages of a criminal case, including before a case has been filed, when a prosecutor is still investigating and deciding what charges to file, at pretrial hearings in court, at jury trial, and on appeal. Ms. Goldstein personally handles every case.
Ms. Goldstein has represented hundreds of clients at pretrial and trial stages of criminal cases. Ms. Goldstein has handled over fifty criminal felony appeals.
Prior to opening Goldstein Legal Office in 2010, Ms. Goldstein prosecuted cases for the Inglewood City Attorney’s Office, and worked as a defense attorney in a criminal defense firm. During law school, Ms. Goldstein worked at the California Court of Appeal, Second District, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office.
Ms. Goldstein received her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During law school, Ms. Goldstein was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. At the University of California, Berkeley, Ms. Goldstein received the Cal Emerging Leader Alumni Scholarship and was the College of Letters Arts and Sciences Graduation Commencement Speaker.
Ms. Goldstein has authored articles in legal magazines, and has been quoted in many nationally-acclaimed newspapers.
Ms. Goldstein practices in criminal courts throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Ventura County. She handles appeals at the California Court of Appeal, Second District, and the California Supreme Court.
