  • While represented by another attorney, Client was found guilty by a jury of felony possession of methamphetamine for sale. The methamphetamine was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop. Goldstein Legal Office represented Client on appeal to the California Court of Appeal, Second District. Goldstein Legal Office successfully argued that the initial search of Client’s vehicle was unlawful and violated Client’s Fourth Amendment Constitutional rights. The California Court of Appeal agreed, and reversed the conviction in full.
  • After a jury trial and while represented by another attorney, Client was found guilty of committing felony second degree commercial burglary. The trial court further found that Client had suffered to two prior “strike” offenses outside of California. Client was sentenced to 11 years in state prison. Goldstein Legal Office represented Client on appeal to the California Court of Appeal, Second District. In a published opinion, the Court of Appeal agreed with Goldstein Legal Office’s arguments, and reversed the prior “strike” offenses. Therefore, Client’s sentence was reduced to six years, and based on time served, he was immediately released from prison.
